Our offer is aimed exclusively at business customers. We process only the data needed to operate the website and handle enquiries.

2. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume transferred, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer).

The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is stored only as long as needed for operation and security. The website is hosted by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria, which also operates our mailbox and the mail server for the enquiry form. A data processing agreement is in place with easyname.

Fonts and design elements are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or similar font services is made when you visit the site.

3. Quote request and contact

If you contact us through the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide:

• Company, contact person, email address, country and, optionally, phone number
• Enquiry details: metal, delivery form, requested purity, quantity, delivery location or timeframe and your message

The purpose is to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and otherwise our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The form sends your details by email to office@mr-elements.com. You also receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provided. A blind copy of the form message goes to our web service provider monkeys Business Web Solutions, which maintains and checks the enquiry process technically.

We store your details until the enquiry is completed. If a business relationship results, we keep the records for as long as statutory retention obligations apply (for example seven years under section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO).

4. Cookies and consent

On your first visit, a notice asks for your choice. We set necessary cookies without consent and statistics cookies only if you agree (section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

• Necessary: cc_cookie stores your choice in the notice (up to six months).
• Statistics: Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*), only with consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal applies for the future.

5. Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It shows us which pages are visited and how visitors use the website. For this purpose Google sets cookies and processes usage data, for example pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. The basis is the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Data is stored for a maximum of 14 months. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

6. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to see how the website appears in Google Search and to detect technical problems. A verification marker is included in the website to confirm ownership. Search Console sets no cookies for visitors of the website. Google provides us with search data in aggregated form.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, findable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Recipients of your data

We pass data on only where this is necessary for the purposes stated: to easyname GmbH (hosting and email) and our web service provider monkeys Business Web Solutions (technical maintenance), each as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, and to Google (sections 5 and 6). There is no further disclosure unless we are legally obliged to do so.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Please contact office@mr-elements.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
